This hotel exceeded all expectations! The breathtaking views were truly unforgettable, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. To top it off, the meals were absolutely amazing – each dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend this gem for an exceptional stay!

We stayed in the cabana (which on bookings is the quadruple room). It was perfect. Away from main hotel, an attractive wooden chalet with a wrap around balcony. Folding doors open fully to the balcony from the front of the room with views down the valley. The sound of the river below was great as we watched the sunset. Room was very clean and if you need it, there’s a fridge, microwave and preparation area for food. We ate at the hotel, food was good. Hotel staff were all very lovely and helpful. Nothing too much bother. We were dropped by a lovely driver, Amila, who is based in Anuradhapura but prepared to travel. He was with us for 3 days between Wilpattu and the Riverbank. Highly recommend. He really looked after us and we saw lots we otherwise would have missed. He was a very safe driver, kind and respectful of our privacy. Very nice ambiance. Old kolonial style but very neat and well maintained. Only 5 rooms, so very cosy. Large rooms with nice beds. Great view on the surrounding hills. Very kind personel. Fast responding to my changing plans and questions. Good price for a nice rice and curry dinner.

The house is in a beautiful place on the top of a hill, not easy to get to, but in good weather you can enjoy a stunning view.

Big and comfy rooms, they let us choose between three rooms. Fan and aircon plus a living room area to chill. Great rooftop bar and restaurant with good vibes. Nice balcony with views to the mountains.
