We LOVED Gal Oya lodge. It was such a highlight of our trip - off grid bliss paired with gorgeous facilities, delicious food, lovely swimming pool and fab activities. We will definitely be back! The staff went above and beyond, especially Kalana who was the most exceptional guide on our hike up Shadow Mountain.

I’ve rarely seen so many smiling people as in this village. Yup this is the real deal. The off the beaten track all the hipsters are talking about. And the good news. They’re not here! But you can be.
Charitha runs the place. Together with his mom and dad and helped by others from the village.
