Loved the staff and the place

breakfast, staff, beach so good....loved it

The hotel is outside the main town, but there is nice restaurants near. They also provide TukTuk if you need anything. The pool was very clean and perfect for our family. The room was big and there was always helpful staff available.

There are no words to describe the hospitality and kindness, we were welcomed like part of the family. We felt like Chami Villa was second home, it was our first accomodation in Sri Lanka and we miss it already. As I told you, I would give you a 100, but I can only give you a 10. The property is beautiful, rooms are large, very clean with good air-conditioning. Breakfast was abundant and so tastefull. We were 4, 2 adults and 2 children and the triple room had more than enough space for us, the big bed was large enough for 3 to sleep in. When my daughter fell and got wound on her legs, he brought us a cream to help heel it. When we went to the beach, they made sure we had everything we needed. Last but not least, Maya the dog was so charming and our children did not want to leave Chami the last they because of her and they keep mentioning her all the time.

Hotel well situated, close to a nice beach. Restaurant (both staff service and food) were excellent. The fixtures in the room were worn and dated - broken cabinets; ripped curtains. No flat screen TV or satellite channels in room, but addressed when I mentioned it. There was a private beach with sun loungers. The covers were all ripped and the beach towels had seen better days. There was supposed to be a beach bar but never seemed to be anyone serving. Fortunately there was a very good beach bar next door. The beach was clean as was the sea but the waves were quite strong - anyone with young kids would need to keep a paricular eye out for them. Overall, good location, great restaurant but fixtures in rooms and on beach need refurbishment.
