If you can, pick room 501. It was the biggest with the best view. The view was incredible.
There are no lifts, which was fine for us being on the top floor, however, may not work for others.
The area is big and spacious and quiet. You can walk to many amazing restaurants and bars close by.

We planned to stay for a couple of nights, but we liked it so much that we stayed for almost two weeks. We felt at home. It felt like a five-star hotel. The staff were fantastic people, just like family. It was hard for us to leave this place and these people, we definitely want to come back to this place. Cocobay Hotel : One Week January 2025 We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic place with its location with a quiet beach, a tropical environment all around, and a top hotel (in its comfort, its services, and especially by all the staff: the reception, the kitchens (excellent dishes), wonderfull room services, Wonderfull restaurant service (smile to Upul), Top managers (thanks dedicated to Buddhika). Without forgetting the precious massage from Vidula, who put my back back in place following a fall down while getting off a Bus :) The kindness, the smiles, the availability and the human exchanges that we were able to have with this Dream Team will remain engraved in our heart.
