Very nice boutique hotel. Got a very spacious ground floor room with big bathroom and own terrace in front of the room. I think a room upgrade. Good restaurant on site. Weather was not supportive much to use swimming pool but it looked nice and must be a plus on sunny day.
Direct beach access, but no walking on the beach really as it is short ending with rocks on both sides.

Ambalamgodas is near Galle so you can visit the famous beaches. It's most famous for the wooden masks. I like a pizza place called Ceylon Pizza. Very tasty and you can also take it away! My favourite beach is Hikkaduwa. I also loved bird watching and ridiubg to bird island to meet my favourite monk!

A small village with an unforgettable local flavor. The fruit and fish market always works, even on weekends. Ambalangoda has everything you need, pharmacies, supermarkets, banks and currency exchanges. And the most important thing is the large uninhabited beaches.

The place was amazing. The balcony view, cleanliness, and spaciousness were all perfect. As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by a stunning view of the beach. Breakfast was delicious, with generous portions. The owner was extremely helpful. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend it👌
The beach view is perfect, and the room is something that you’d pay 65 USD for in a tourist area.

This was our first accomodation after having arrived at Sri Lanka. The Service of the host family was great and we felt save and sound after our long journey. The room was clean and we received coconuts as a welcome drink.
Beach was close to the hotel and was with easy access...turtle care centers all around and you can go watch them. Location was next to the main town so getting supplies wa easy...
A fantastic place to spend your vacation in southwest Sri Lanka! The home is isolated from all of the noise of the big city. It is a very beautiful home with great hosts.
