Ambalamgodas is near Galle so you can visit the famous beaches. It's most famous for the wooden masks. I like a pizza place called Ceylon Pizza. Very tasty and you can also take it away! My favourite beach is Hikkaduwa. I also loved bird watching and ridiubg to bird island to meet my favourite monk!

An absolutely beautiful villa blending traditional and modern architecture.
The best food we had during our trip, home cooked fresh and delicious.
The villa opens up onto a well kept pool and then again onto the beach. Wonderful to wake up, dip in the ocean, breakfast and swim in the pool.
There’s not much to do in close proximity but a short drive or tuk tuk will take to many places.
The staff: housekeeper/cook and handyman/security were fantastic. Never been so well looked after.
We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at Blue Wave Beach Villa, opting for a room boasting a stunning sea view. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms exceeded our expectations.The staff, particularly the individual who communicated with us via WhatsApp, provided prompt and helpful assistance, ensuring our needs were met promptly. Overall, our time at this hotel was thoroughly enjoyable.

the apartment looks in our view better than on the pictures, authentic and spacious. we stay with our child of almost 2, great place for such a journey as well.
A paradise right on the beach, amazing host and the swimming and decor makes the place feel like a luxury boutique home. The trees provide perfect shade for half the pool as well. The family where so helpful and welcoming
