Great location, easy walk to start of Adam Peak trek (5-1mins). The room was large with a big bed and overlooked the surrounded tea plantations and peaks. The shower was hot and towels were provided.
They supplied a thermos of tea to take on the early morning walk and a huge breakfast when we returned.
What really makes this place stand out though is the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner and staff. They communicated excellently via bookings and WhatsApp and arranged for a Tuk Tuk to meet us off the train in Hatton and drive us to Dalhousie for LKR 4000 which is the going rate. This took 90 mins on the way there and 70 on the return. The Tuk Tuk also made stops at all the points of interst enroute.

Location is amazing: great views of, and walkable to, Adam's Peak. One of the few places nearby that has a pool which was great for recovery post-climb. Crazy good value for money. Were helpful suggesting local activities and found us a guide for the jungle trek down last minute. Super friendly staff.

At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

We got to the top of Adam's peak to find a locked gate- very disappointing, as we couldn't get a view of the other side of the mountain! Apparently it is only open in season and I think this should be changed

This is a site every visitor to Sri Lanka should travel to. Which has historical, cultural value, hiking experience very difficult to find on most other tourist destinations. Can complete in one day (one night booking). Just about 4 hours travel from the capital, Colombo. All year cold temperature.

If you sleep in Dalhousie (or Nallathanniya) it’s certainly because you want to climb Adam’s peak, which is a pilgrimage destination, so hotels here has a pilgrim’s vibe, with the essentials and no frivolousness around. We were there to climb Adam’s peak at night, so we didn’t care about the room, it was clean and comfortable for the time we spent there. So if you are here for the same reason this is the very best place you can book.
Breakfast was very good, prepared by the extremely kind and friendly owner.
Absolutely amazing place to stay near Adam’s peak. Nice, clean and spacious rooms with terrace and view on surrounding jungle. Owner is super kind and helpful, together with her mother they cook delicious food, I recommend rice and curry :) They will also provide sandwitches for trip to the mountains, egg hoppers for breakfast after you come back, arrange laundry and tuk tuk if needed. You can also have interesting conversations and get to know more about Sri Lanka❤️
We stayed for 2 nights to climb Adams Peak. Our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel manager was really helpful in every aspect of our stay and arranged forward transport. The location was very good on the edge of all the hustle and bustle with great views from the rooms. The food was really good fresh cooked by the managers mother. The taxi arranged for us had a really nice driver who was safe but made our long trip interesting. Very happy overall
I had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location provided breathtaking views. The hotel's amenities and services exceeded my expectations, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Siyumi Hotel
The room size was ok and the bathrooms were clean. breakfast was also good but not much varieties. Whatever we requested we got everything. The staff member Ranjan is really good and nice guy. From the hotel to the Adam's Peak entry is just walking distance.
