Our stay in Balzers was a delightful experience, and this property turned out to be an excellent choice. While we were initially a bit apprehensive about the self-check-in process, as this is the system on weekends, it was surprisingly smooth and hassle-free. Clear instructions were provided in advance, and the keys were easy to locate, which made settling in stress-free.
Location:
The location of this property is simply fantastic. Nestled at the base of a historic castle, it offers a picturesque setting that feels straight out of a storybook. A charming vineyard lies adjacent to the property, adding to the serene ambiance, and the nearby village church enhances the old-world charm. Staying in Balzers provided us with a peaceful, authentic experience, a wonderful alternative to the more crowded and far pricier accommodations in Vaduz, the capital.
Parking and Accessibility:
Another highlight was the convenient parking. We could park our car right next to the door, which made unloading luggage a breeze—especially helpful after a day of travel.
Value for Money:
Compared to accommodations in Vaduz, this property offers excellent value without compromising on quality or location. That said, travelers coming from Italy, like us, should be prepared for the higher costs of staying and dining in Liechtenstein, which align more closely with Swiss pricing.
Overall Impression:
This property in Balzers is a gem. Its picturesque location, seamless self-check-in, and proximity to the castle and vineyards make it a unique and memorable place to stay. For those looking to experience the charm of Liechtenstein without the hefty price tag of Vaduz, this is a perfect choice. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both convenience and character.
Located in Balzers, 32 km from Salginatobel Bridge, Wohnung in zentraler und trotzdem ruhiger Lage, Balzers provides recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace.

We came when was dark at street. Host Mirjam was very pleasant and when we woke up in the morning all beautiful white-top mountains, green-gras shining lawns and fresh clear air were like a miracle.

Fantastic view! It was both cozy and stylish inside, a very good bed for one person. Great breakfast. Spa was also very nice. Just one sauna and swimming pool inside but it was very calm and relaxing, the tea was a very good one, fruits, dried fruits, water - you have really everything to stay there in spa happily for hours. The service is also great, very caring experience during check-jn and check-out.
Quiet location in Balzers immediately under the local castle and close to main bus route across Liechtenstein, Sargans rail station about 20 mins. away. The venue is a conference centre rather than a purpose-designed hotel / guest house but a good breakfast is available by advance request, or there are basic self-service facilities with coffee machine etc. Clean and comfortable, cost compares favourably with accommodation generally in this expensive country. A good base for travel using a bus day pass.
Warm welcome, hotel staff pays attention to sustainability and checks whether individual breakfast is more appropriate than buffet or vice versa, asking guests about their wishes and taking into account the number of breakfast guests. Tiny and cozy single room, free fruit, lovingly prepared breakfast with various cheeses, ham and co, bread, croissants, homemade cake, cereals, fruit, vegetables and juices.
This hotel is much nicer than the Booking.com pictures suggest. The room is light and airy and has a balcony. No aircon but a fan was provided that worked well. Food and facilities all good. Well located to explore Vadus and surrounding area
