The view from our bedroom was beautiful and we met some great people during our stay. The room itself was very spacious, with a large balcony, nicely decorated, had all the necessities, and the bed was very comfortable.

Lovely place to stay in Soufrière - beautiful view from the balcony too and a short walk to town. Would recommend the hotel arranged transfer from the airport as it was reasonable and also the driver planned a stop in a supermarket en route for us to buy groceries for our stay.

The location is 5 mins from the Soufriere bus terminal. There is the market and also connections by boat to get you to the other beaches. You get a feel for local living, as the neighbourhood is very authentic. Everyone's very friendly and talkative. There is a small convenience shop opposite, so you can buy water, and other little goodies. During my stay, there was a party vibe, the neighbours played music and it was quite enjoyable to listen to. The hens are roaming the street, so in the morning, there's no need for an alarm clock. It rained a few times during my stay. You can hear the rain a lot when inside, but that's island life I had such a great experience, so different from European city life. Just embrace the differences. Aunty Sonia was very helpful and organised a taxi for me so I could get to gros piton. The driver was pleasant, professional, and reasonably priced.

Set on a lush tropical estate, Anse Chastanet Resort is situated between Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches, and offers wonderful views of Petit and Gros Piton mountains and the Caribbean Sea.

Host was very kind and helpful (even gave us lift to the Vigie Beach and back from the center). Room and bathroom were clean and quite spacious. The access by public transport is ok, buses stop at Morne bakery and it is less then 20min by foot to the accommodation, longer the other way as it is quite steeply up the hill.
