Olympic Hotel, is the best hotel in Turkestan . The room is very nice and has all facilities. The bathroom and toilet too is very clean and has all facilities. Every hotel soul is it’s staff, the house keeping staff is very good at their job, the staff in the kitchen at the breakfast are very cooperative and do their job with passion. The staff at the reception are very polite and helping. Aidar at the reception and as a hotel administrator was incredible. He is very enthusiastic and makes sure that you are taken care of and all your problems are solved. We requested for a early check in before we arrived as we were travelling all night and Aidar was at the hotel to welcome us and immediately and politely checked us in a bit early. Aidar thank you for your very good customer service . His English speaking skills are very good as compared to other staff.
Also, we were shown the swimming pool and Gym and even the massage facilities ( Gulnar the massage therapist is a very good professional she’d taking massage from her is a must ) The reception helped us book a nice upgraded SUV taxi to go to the Uzebekistan border at reasonable prices.
I totally recommend this hotel. Provided they keep the prices stable.

Reception girl is so lazy and impolite, never meets usual customer's needs as receipt for stay and some information about Turkestan. Firstly she refused to provide me receipt for extra stay, then after insisting I waited for a receipt a half a day. I paid for extra half day stay, but they required me to leave hostel immediately after 8 pm, even not giving me the opportunity to end my phone conversation. Also internet provision is so poor, no possible even to read the infomation, not considering, of course, video info

This is a holy site for Kazakhs and Muslims in the region.
This is a holy site for Kazakhs and Muslims in the region. The Xodzha Yassawi Mosaleum was incredibly beautiful and the area around it has been nicely developed into a modern area. Beyond the Mosaleum, a new area has been built since the city became the regional capital in 2018, with many new shopping malls, hotels, and restaurants. The old town is also very charming and has many cheap, delicious restaurants. Highly recommend!

Turkistan is a historical and spiritual, place of our country. Of course all old buildings are very interesting, but you should considered that some places are to far way between each other. For example Arystan bab mausoleum is located appx 50-60km from center of Turkistan.
