Suncheon is an unassuming town that has quote a few things worth seeing and doing, some take up quite a bit of time due to the activity itself and/or travel to and from the required location (eg wetlands and Yonsan Observatory, and Nagan Eupseong Folk Village). It's also got a lovely river worth walking or cycling along and they have the World Garden Expo on at present. You may wish to go ziplining and/or on a cable car ride, so the Geumosan Mountain Zip Wire near Jingyo is well worth the journey. The town is friendly, manageable and good for a few days.

I lived in Suncheon for 3 years, so I know the place pretty well, still it is ever evolving. The area south of Suncheon National University is pleasant. Also, the rescue cat cafe, near the bus terminal (다락방 고양이)is run by a local animal rights group and features many special needs and disabled cats, who love human attention.

This was a very friendly hotel and the staff were excellent and very helpful. I was thinking of seeing the Folk Village on my last day and the manager was just finishing work. He offered to drive me the 25km to the village and back! After picking up his wife we all enjoyed the trip. As an appreciation I shouted them a lunch which was delicious. This act of kindness by the manager was just one of many that I experienced on my trip to South Korea.
Lovely owners. They don't speak English but it was not a problem to exchange with them.
The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable.
Common space is big! You have a kettle and a microwave if you want to eat there.
The guesthouse is really close to Suncheon Bus Terminal and Suncheon City Hall. It is easy to access touristic spots with bus system from there.
Really recommend the guesthouse!
The cutest hotel I've ever been to! Great location, w min away from the bus terminal. Big comfortable room, and amazing Korean style breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer.
