Room was perfectly comfortable and adequate for its purpose - we just needed a place to sleep for the night. Shower was pretty good, everything was clean. Big tv by the bed which I like.

Do visit a quieter area of Korea, instead of just hanging around Seoul all the time~
Jeonju has a Hanok Village full of traditional looking houses. It is nice to stay in one of these for a traditional Korean experience, without the large crowd in Seoul's Hanok villages.
Eat the PNB choco pies, and traditional bibimbap.
If possible, visit Jeonju on a Fri/Sat night. There is a night market which is recommended by locals.
2 nights in Jeonju is sufficient, a nice break from the city. :D

Jeonju is a cultural gem!
Jeonju is a cultural gem! My favorite part was exploring Jeonju Hanok Village, where the traditional Korean houses and winding streets create a charming atmosphere. The street food around the village is fantastic. And we also tried an amazing bibimbap there.
Getting around Jeonju is easy, especially if you’re staying near the Hanok Village. The area is very walkable, and public transport, like buses and taxis, is convenient for visiting other spots.

The free walking tours are great. We did 3. You just turn up at 11am, 2pm, or 3pm depending on which English your you want.
Try and avoid being in jeonju on a Monday of possible, a lot of things are closed!
Well worth a visit. Small enough to walk around

Jeonju is a great place to visit for the traditional Hanok Village. Everything is in an easily walkable area if you stay in the visit or come in for the day. There are plenty of things to see, including “hidden” areas one of the free tours will show you.

Jeonju has a nice preserved hanok hood, however, it is clearly gentrifying quickly and prepared for massive tourism. The rest of the city has little interest. One afternoon to walk in the hanoks and dine should be enough.

Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

The place is super easy to get to Hanok Village and bus station and located next to Jeonju station. The owner Kenny Kim is superb helpful with his local knowledge and thanks to his wife Mrs Kim they served a reasonably satisfactory breakfast. Definitely value for money as bed is comfortable, really clean overall the place and the communal kitchen on level 4 is cosy and warm. Great hospitality extended by the lovely couple. Kamsa hamida
Truly authentic Hanok experience. The room was clean, well organized, climatized and provided all ammenities (slippers, soap, towels,...). The hosts are very friendly and understanding people. We were allowed to checkin earlier due to shelter from an extreme and hazardous heat wave. The place is located at the heart of the Hanok village of Jeonju and you can walk everywhere from there.
It is well kept with the traditional hanok architecture. It provides a quiet relief from the hustle and bustle of the Hanok Village. Its location is also right behind the entrance to the hill to Omokdae which provides a great view to the city of Jeonju on the top of it.
The hotel was quite fancy with helpful staff, a big comfy room, comfy shower and great shower. It was great value for money and a short walk to Jeonju Hanok Village.
Boutique hotel that was walking distance to Nambu Market and Jeonju Hanok Village. Parking was available and the rooms were very comfortable and clean!
