Based on other reviews and the excellent discount we got I was expecting a lot worse. But it did not seem run down to me. It seems they have paid attention to reviews eg there was a curtain to block the glass bathroom wall from the room. Note you can control the air conditioning, just within a narrow range. The staff were excellent! Super helpful. Also the lobby is super fun!

I liked walking up and down the creek and going into the furniture, vintage dishes, and other shops. Having a Gorgonzola and almond pizza with hot coffee overlooking the creek at sunset will be one of my most cherished memories of Seoul.
