People by the Community is a fabulous hotel. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and took care of all our needs. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and well air conditioned. The hotel is beautiful. We ate at the restaurant and drank at the bar many times - both of them are excellent, with a large selection of reasonably priced and delicious food and drinks. They have a fleet of tuk tuks available to drive you anywhere you need to go, including long tours through the temples of ancient Angkor. We used the hotel tuk tuks to tour the small circuit, the grand circuit, and even drove out to Banteay Srei - it was like a dream. You can easily walk to the Angkor National Museum and the botanic gardens, and the hotel can arrange for bicycle rental if you want to explore the city or the ruins by bike. The hotel also had a van drive us to and from the airport, all for very reasonable prices. Our whole family was overjoyed by the delightful stay. I cannot wait to stay there again.

We arrived late on a Saturday night. The owner went out of his way to get us booked on a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. We were only in the area for a day and a half, so the extra service was especially appreciated. The room was comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool area and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel for the facilities and even more for the service.

The staff were amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Easy Tuk Tuk to & from town and to all the temples. Our daily tour driver was Lay and he was great. And several times in the evening we had Sokkhen who was excellent as well. Minea was so kind and helpful and all of the staff were amazing. We will be back for sure.
