We were there to celebrate my husband 50th bday and the team (thank you Zipora and Evelyn for your hospitality, warmth and kindness) went out of the way to ensure that our time was special. Everything about the Maji hotel and our experience was exceptional. The hotel is aesthetically decorated, lots of fun and comfortable corners to sit in, the beach beds super comfy and the wrap around pool kept clean (thank you Wilson), the beach is gorgeous, the service is on point (thank you Erasmus, Zippy, Caroline), the rooms spotless where the housekeeping staff ran it as a well-oiled machine, and the food delicious.
Our morning walks to the Kongo river were followed with an exceptional breakfast spread. We spent the rest of the time happily on the beach beds, reading and swimming. My original plan was to venture out for dinners but the food was so good that we ended up eating all meals at the hotels with the chef going out of the way to accommodate our vegetarian diet and adapting the swahilli dishes for variety. We had a special table setup that was beautifully decorated to celebrate my husband's bday with a cake. The security is always there, making sure monkeys stay at bay, discrete but always there.

It's a nice beach, but its beauty is oversold, compared to other tropical locations that we have visited. The sales people are more aggressive here than anywhere else that we have visited, and it really detracts from the enjoyment of the beach. Tourism police were not present, and private security only guard the property, not you.

Diani beach is one of the cleanest and the best in the world with amazing restaurants and fun activities not forgetting the most beautiful nature.
This is one of the most amazing Beaches the world has to offer.
I would recommend to anyone who has had a stressful year to go and relax there with no hesitation.

Everything about this paradise is good. The people, the small markets, the supermarkets. Everybody wants to help you. Not for free of course, but who want to do that ? For a western person with a normal salery, you can live like a king. The climate is just perfect. I just love Diani and recomend everybody who enjoy tropical climate to book a place to live right away 👍

One of the best beaches we have been to in the world and we've been to many. Downside is you have to deal with all the "beach boys" wanting to sell you things or take you on a boat. Just politely say no and don't make eye contact because if you look at all interested they won't let go.

I loved the beach!
I loved the beach! When the tide is out, the beach is very walkable and goes a very long way - I walked more than 4 miles north and didn't see the end of the beach. The sand was so soft. Lots of fun beach activities: sail boarding, diving, kayaking, etc. And we introduced body surfing to the community! When the tide is out, it's possible to walk almost a kilometer out into the water and it's only mid-thigh. And the water was so warm!

The location of this hotel is superb. Right on Diani beach with beautiful white sands and warm sea! Just on the edge of the town so its nice and quiet but not too far away that it takes too long to get to the shops if you need them. Dinner was a buffet style with lots to chose from. Lunch was either in the restaurant or the beach side café. The room was clean and comfortable with air con and mosquito nets, both very welcome. Pool was lovely and warm with loungers and towels available.
Fiorella Beach House exceeded my expectations. The apartment was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and luxurious atmosphere (the king size bed was so comfortable). The kitchen etc was well equipped. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Loved the private walk through on to the beach, all of 3 mins. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay for a memorable and enjoyable stay at Diani Beach.

It's USP is that it is on the Diani beach. The beach is beautiful and so was the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here. We are vegetarians so the chef also catered our special request for the breakfast and gave us whatever we asked for. Appreciate the same.
I had an amazing stay at Diani palm resort. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location is perfect,just a short walk from Diani beach and the pool is a peaceful oasis The food was delicious, and the overall service was outstanding!
