Great stay. Safari drives were outstanding. Slept peacefully with the sounds of hippos in the river yards from our tent.

The staff at the camp are great and very responsive to any need of your including food drinks and medication when we needed it! The Manager Eziekel, Aliche at the head office were outstanding in helping us make multiple changes to our Itinerary!
The food was top class Indian and continental cuisine, the tents were comfortable with a hot pressure shower in the mornings and evenings an invaluable luxury in the bush!

We had a PHENOMENAL time at Enkusero. It exceeded our (already high) expectations and gave us a more intimate experience we wouldn't have gotten from a bigger camp. William and Alex are so knowledgeable; thanks to them, we saw the very rare Wildebeest Migration crossing, two prides of lions (very close!), a cheetah, several hippos, plus tons more! The camp is in a conservancy and very close to the reserve, so we had our pick of animals to watch! The tents were luxurious and we appreciated the beautiful decor and the little touches (turndown service, laundry, great smelling bath products, etc.). The food was AMAZING, some of the best I've ever had. We felt very safe the whole time, and the kind, helpful staff made our trip extra special. Enkusero is also locally owned and operated. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again...thanks to William and his entire staff for the amazing stay!

We had such a lovely stay at the Mara River Lodge!! The staff was so gracious and accommodating - their hospitality is unmatched. We just adored staying near, watching, and listening to all the hippos!! The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We enjoyed the pool on a rest day, and spent the morning observing the hippos, as well as gazelles, baboons, and elands on the bluff across from us. To know - it is a bit of a drive to the nearest gate but we were more than fine with that as we saw an abundance of animals on the way to the gate (because you’re driving through the conservancy), and we just absolutely loved and wanted to stay near the hippos!! The food was fantastic and the chef wonderfully accommodated the vegetarian in our group. The chef also prepared boxed lunches for our safaris as well as a boxed breakfast complete with coffee and steamed milk when we left extra early one morning (in search of leopards!). And many thanks to William who had hot tea and cake for us when we returned from our safaris - followed by delicious gin & tonics! Overall, a 10/10 stay!!!

The game drives were exceptional, with the comfort of the car significantly enhancing the experience. Additionally, the driver exhibited superb knowledge, explaining everything thoroughly.
Mara Explorer Tented camp is awesome. The food was epic, the game drives were excellent and our guide was superb. One issue though is when booking all Inclusive we assumed this was all we would need to pay as this stated game drives included but it doesn’t include park fees which are an additional 100 USD per person per day so we were stuck with an extra USD 600 which we had not budgeted for. Make sure you have the means to pay the park fees in addition to any other costs. This does make it much more expensive. A cheaper alternative is the Nairobi National Park.
