Good location out of the hustle of the main resort areas. The space is lovely and tastefully furnished/decorated. Traditional feeling in the way the building is constructed. Owner is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is across the street from Rhythm Wadano, which was convenient for renting our skis and was the pick-up point for our day tour to the snow monkeys. The hotel must have been prestigious when it was built, the rooms are very clean and of a very good size with a large bathroom (with a separate room for the toilet), the lobby area is huge and there are 3 restaurants on site (one seems to have closed). The service standards reflect the prestige, too, with gentlemen supervisors making sure that each team abide by their high standards. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of food of good quality and preparation. The onsen was very clean and had an indoor and outdoor pool.

Clean, very big room, free shuttle bus drop off and pick up from bus stop and free Iimori ski drop off. Lady at the reception came down to wave goodbye to us as we were leaving. No other receptionist/owner did that in our 4 weeks around Japan and different hotels. This is our second time in Stelle Belle and they never disappoint us.
