Nice big hotel with a 60's architecture look. Room and bedding were clean, private bathroom with window overlooking the sea. The hotel is little dated and we can see they do their best to maintain it. Corridors are old, carpets too.....but rooms are clean and nice. Onsen are really interesting with different baths indoor and outdoor. Buffet meals average level. Nice staff. Free coffee and tea. Good wifi.

The personal onsen was a first time for us and really, really nice. The cottage was spacious with a nice combination of western and Japanese rooms, so we could try both. Location was good for walking - noting the coast trail which starts right next to the facility is quite narrow and full of spider webs (September); when we took the bus to the NY Lamp museum, the walking path up North was much better and very, VERY nice. There are drink vending machines on-site, but hardly any other food options except for the reservation-only restaurant.

The place is charming (e.g., has a bookable private onsen and a nice garden) and had all you need: a nice common kitchen, food you can buy, and even a projector in the room!! The host was 10 out of 10 - a kind, young man whose basic English combined with great commitment and communication skills made the check-in and check-out smooth and a nice experience.
