The location of the house was close to public bus station and the owner was nice. However, the hygienic condition of the facility was quite a concern to us. There was a strong smell of urinary excretion emitting from the toilet. The floor of the house was not clean enough. I opinine that there is room for improvement as far as the hygienic condition of the house is concerned.

Good view of the river. Nearest bus stn for JR Tohoku is Yakeyama bus stn. Highly recommended to book breakfast and dinner as there are no restaurants open for dinner ard that area. No combini ard too.Food served is great. They have 1 ofuro at basement.

The view of the lake and trees was beautiful and peaceful The onsen was lovely looking out to the view Breakfast and French dinner were included in the price and both the food and the service was to a very high standard. The staff were attentive and friendly.

The interior is a little dated and the rooms a bit retro, but it is very quiet, inexpensive, has beautiful surroundings, and a great selection of onsen. In the evening I used the outdoor onsen and enjoyed the full moon. The next morning I used the indoor and met some friendly locals.
