The host was excellent. She took time with us when we arrived and let us try on traditional Japanese outfit. In the evening she even took us into the city to a local market to get dinner. Extremely friendly and courteous host.

Fantastic stay, staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us. Bed was comfortable, beautiful view of the castle from our room and amazing rooftop views. The Japanese style breakfast was a nice and delicious surprise.

A special mention to A Yamada who spoke excellent English to understand our dilemma. We received notification from JAL that our domestic flight the next day was cancelled.
