The staff, the view and the facilities were amazing. The food was next level. We were a party of 5, and everyone was blown away. The baths were amazing.

Nice Onsen (which contrasts with the old uncomfortable bathrooms in your bedrooms).
Nice service even if a bit too rigid old style.

We were only staying 1 night and arrived late however the impression the staff left was fabulous. We needed information about buses and sending luggage on and Shinsuke could not have been more helpful. He later rang our next hotel just to check arrangements with them. We wanted to stay longer! Room was typically small however clean and the beds more comfortable than most.
