Everyone i met in the hotel were profesaional and friendly and helpful. The room was dated but very clean. Breakfast was a japanese set, simple but absolutely delicious. The period i went was non peak and everything was pretty purrfect. Location was near the ropeway which ia another plus.

Komono is about mid-point between Kyoto and Nagoya, around 1 hour driving to Kyoto/Nagoya.
大根羽園 Train station is about 100 meters away, kids will love to see train passing through. People who stay in house might hear sound of railway track when train passing by. The house is next to 7-11 convenient store, this is good when you need food and beverage. Sometime there is noisy motors stop by in the late night but not an issue to us.
