Room: quite spacious, and it faces the lake, so I could see the lake, mountain.. etc. I could watch the fireworks from my room if I wanted :-)
Dinner & Breakfast: the buffet style is a but chaotic with so many people attended; staffs had given customers the flows and directions, however not all followed. I found myself constantly running into others. Food is above average, typical large hotel buffet meals.
Onsen: the pools are large, clean and option of outdoor ones was great. I used it couple times during my stay; enjoyed it!

The area is beautiful and we had plans to do all sorts of things in the surrounding area, however, that particular day we got rained in. We've been traveling for over a week, so at this point we decided to just stay in and enjoy the cabin. It was wonderful! It was very comfortable, I sat out on the patio and my wife cuddled up on the couch. The lush green surrounding area along with a rain made a very comfortable rainy day at Lake Toya.
