The hotel is very close to Shizuoka Station! The staff was very friendly and helpful:) We stayed on one of the higher floors and the view was very beautiful😍 At morning, there is a traditional Japanese breakfast. Our room was also quite big for Japanese standards. Overall, we had a great stay and we would definitely recommend the hotel, especially when considering the price🥰

Value for money, friendly staff, very very small room for a couple with 2 large suitcases and a small one, but clean and comfortable, convenient location.
Breakfast was OK fixed menu does not change, but we needed something early for attending event days, too much bread for me, so I ate the salad and eggs, gave my little sausages to my husband, I could not eat the 3 types of bread as too much for me.
We would stay again for convenience.

We hated it. We felt unsafe, boxed in. My friend is fluent in Japanese but even she was having trouble making the staff understand even small things.
It’s a love hotel. Very disturbing. Sextoy magasine, prostitute magasine, locked doors that only open when you call and ask the staff to open the doors.
Staff that didn’t understand. Making me pay for two rooms when giving us just one room.

Shizuoka city has the pleasant atmosphere of a sizable city with a country feel. I love Shizuoka and of course, that big mountain is always visible in the near vicinity when it's not hanging with its cloudy mates.

From a touristic perspective Shizuoka was just perfect for travelers who look for a more relaxing location. It was not full of tourists like you would expect seeing in Tokyo. But this also means that not everything is written or explained in english.
Shizuoka is a perfect stay location when you want to visit locations like Nagoya, Hamamatsu, Mishima or similiar (so places you would usually pass with a shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto)

Oku-oi kojo, Yume no Tsuribashi...difficult to get to, but worth it. A must visit for those who want to get on hanging bridges, unmanned stations in middle of a lake, train lovers, nature enthusiasts and of course kids who love Thomas.

We only stayed in Shizuoka for 1 night and it was definitely not enough length. We saw Mt. Fiji and beaches, and also experienced hot spring. We went to the waterfall as well. All of experiences were enjoyable.

a very clean, very modern hotel. this hotel is a couple minutes walk from shizuoka train station which makes it incredibly convenient. the staff were very friendly, and there were many amenities available (all sorts of toiletries, fresh towels + robe/nightgown everyday, even over the ear headphones) there's also a drink station on the first level which offers coffee, and soft drinks like coke, and orange juice. I stayed in the dormitory suite, and I think overall the value for money was good and I would consider staying again.
Great location that's very close to the station and also close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Even though the hotel is a little 'tired' and could do with an upgrade, it served our needs perfectly. The room was a bit larger than a standard business hotel room in Japan. The lobby is spacious which is also a good thing when compared to newer hotels that have tiny lobbies and front desks. The charge for a late check out at 13:00 was very reasonable. And finally the Smart TV in the room was a nice touch.
The location next to the station was perfect and close to shops and restaurants which we appreciated as it was a quick stopover on the way to another location. We did not know that Shizuoka was such an interesting place and we look forward to returning to this hotel where we spent a really pleasant one night. The room was spotless and the staff kind. The breakfast buffet was excellent! Thank you
The stay is 5 minutes away from Shizuoka station, hassle free for commuting via bus or train to anywhere. The staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating, even to non-japanese speakers. The place is clean, well-maintained and safe.
It is very close to the station and bus stops. Very convenience to go around the sightseeing spots around Shimizu-ku as well as nearby Shizuoka city center.
