The hotel is located right on the seaside, with beautiful views from the windows. Our three-person room was huge and included all ammenities, including a tv set, an electric kettle, a fridge. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel, with a common space that includes a fully equipped kitchen where guests can hang out and chat with the members of the management (owners?). The staff is friendly and helpful, speaks some English. The location is unbeatable - you can easily walk around the town from there, or drive to Shiretoko.

We came to Shari during the early February winter to see the drift ice. We took the Shiretoko airport liner to Abashiri for the boat tour to see drift ice, didnt manage to see it because of the strong wind. After that we sit the same aiport liner straight to our hotel at Kiki. It was a winter wonderland here, you could see a lot of snow. The next day. we signed up for 3 local tours operated by Shinra, and they do not disappoint. In the morning we went for a walk in the snowy forest, and it fell really enchanting and beautiful. In the afternoon, we walked on Drift Ice, it was a really unique experiences. In the evening, we went around to see the seagull and eagle, and the sunset, it was beautiful. At night we have our dinner buffet and onsen at Kiki hotel, it was really enjoyable relaxing. We went back to the airport the next day morning. It was a really memorable trip for me.

Hotel Kifu Club is located along the seafront. Everywhere in the hotel is very clean. It is a family run hotel with 2 lovely old folks & their children. The meals provided changed everyday which we were looking forward :)
Excellent location, next to the train station and the bus station. They have onsen at the hotel, which is great. Very good breakfast served in the morning, with a variety of westerner and asian food.

except you must prepared to meet tons of tour groups visitors, in some occasions the place could be noisy.
