Hotel is in an excellent location for easy sightseeing and walking around the city. The best thing about our room was the generously proportioned bathroom with excellent fittings, relative to the small, cozy room. Onsen is a great bonus and well appointed on the top floor. Breakfast is a delicious buffet style with a large array of dishes which changed daily. Staff are friendly, polite, helpful and professional.
The lounge providing Hokkaido snacks and beverages is an excellent idea however maybe the execution could be better and/ or an expanded range of drinks also available to purchase could be added. It’s an attractive space in the winter evenings and could be a real asset to this hotel.

Honestly, people, the food is great and shopping good, but the people in and around Sapporo, especially Chinese and Koreans, are unbearable. If you go there for snowboarding, ok, go to the snowboarding Alps. Other than that, staying in the city for more than 2 days will drive your head insane because the people, Japanese & Chinese, are absolutely racist.

Due to snowing, driving will take some time. i suggest 1 location full day. Rent a car, it's a good choice. Snow period is dangerous so drive slow...i will assume car rental will fit the snow tires. i was there for 5 days, not enough...i think 7-10 days is good

food is the best among top four cities we visited at Japan. super fresh seafood and beef and milk, best snow and popular ski culture. Onsen is a must see, super good! shopping is mush less exciting than Tokyo or Osaka though.

I stayed 3 nights in 41 Pieces and 3 nights in Hotel Sosei which was wonderful. Sapporo in my opinion is magical. I was there for christmas with plenty of snow and all the fantastic lights in Odori park.

During winter Sapporo there is a lot of place you can visit...
During winter Sapporo there is a lot of place you can visit to see the beautiful scenery. However, I would suggest that you plan for one location per day instead of trying to put in multiple locations. Example if you are going to mitsui outlet for shopping, just spent one day there, you can shop and buy until you drop dead and have ample time to eat at the food court(the toriyaki, and pork rice should not miss ). Then do your tax rebate after that.
There was one day we went to the royce town factory(better than the shiroi koibito park). Just take the train at about 9am from Sapporo station to royce town. There you can explore the factory, enjoy the chocolate making there and take your time to go back to Sapporo station at about 3pm. All this is done in our own time no rush(not a lot of people). Take you time plan for the trip and because of the cold, travelling and walking take up much more time. I would not suggest to go to so called famous restaurant that is a standalone building. If there is a long wait you will need to wait outside the restaurant for some time in the cold.

You will need to explore other places outside the city to enjoy Sapporo. Take a tour is best specially when you go to Furano (Summer is the best time to visit to see the lavender fields) and the blue lake. The best seafood place is Otaru. Fresh seafood (uni and crabs..yum). It was quite easy to go to Otaru. You can take a bus ride or train ride. Otaru also has a quaint town. Its felt like a little bit of Kyoto.

The location is one of the best. Short walking distance to Sapporo station, Odori Park and Nishi market. Cost only around ¥1000 to take taxi from Suzukino to hotel if you are lazy to take train or bus. Airport liner from new Chitose airport stopped right in front of the hotel while going to airport stopped at the building next to it.
Oh, Yamato counter is just at the basement of the hotel. So convenient to drop your baggage or box there.
Hotel is quite new and modern, room is clean and bed is comfortable. Check-in staff is very friendly and can speak frequent english. There is no parking facility within hotel. however, this is public park just right next to the hotel which is cheaper than normal hotel parking in Sapporo. 7-Eleven is just next to the hotel which is very convenience to get some food there.
It is a great centrally located hotel in Sapporo, with direct access to the underground walkway that gives easy access to most of Central Sapporo areas.
Parking facilities, Staff, Rooms & Breakfast are all excellent, will definitely visit again 👍🏼
Great location, straight across the road from the train station. An easy walk to the park and clocktower. Fantastic restaurants in the underground walkway right outside the door to the hotel.
For us, the location is great walking distance to Tanuki walking street with a few convenient stores near by. Airport shuttle bus (Sapporo Prince Hotel) station (S29) just about 250 m away
