The location is in front of the one of the nicest beach in Amami. We walked there and spent almost whole day looking at the colours of the ocean. Magnificent view. Quiet rooms and nice restaurant.

The staff are fantastic: professional and extremely helpful. The location is both quiet and peaceful but also within very easy reach of the airport. On-site parking is very convenient. The design and concept of the accommodation is very modern. The front desk is spacious and welcoming. The second floor corridor is wide and light. My single room had a generous bathroom slightly at the expense of the overall room size but it was fine because I was only able to stay for one night on this trip however, next time if I am able to stay longer I would be keen to book a larger room and explore more of Amami which is a wonderful place to visit.

We spent an amazing few days at Denpaku The Beachfront Mijora during our recent trip to Amami. The hotel architecture was amazing and did a great job of leveraging the beachfront location. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable after a long day of activities. The breakfast each morning was a real treat.

Overall, we had an amazing stay, and it was very affordable, even during Golden Week. I highly recommend staying here.
This gorgeous house is about a 15 minute drive from the airport. We had a group of 7 people and had plenty of space. The downstairs room has a double bed and 2 futons. I think there were 3 futons in each of the 2 upstairs rooms. The house has 1 bathroom downstairs next to the washer/dryer. There are 3 toilets - 1 in the downstairs bedroom, 1 near the entry, and 1 at the top of the stairs. The 7 of us fit comfortably around the dining table for meals. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and equipment. There is a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, electric kettle, and rice cooker. I recommend you look through the kitchen before buying some items, as we saw a lot of oil, sugar, and various sauces. There was also some plastic wrap and aluminum foil that we used.
The house has gorgeous wood furniture and decorative carvings, which give a rich homey feeling. Since our flight arrived around 6pm, the host suggested we stop at the nearby grocery store to buy essentials since many places on the island close early. When we arrived at the house, the door was unlocked and we called the host for check-in. She gave us a quick tour of the facilities and was very helpful with beach and restaurant recommendations during our stay. The house also has an ice machine on the patio and air conditioners in several rooms. There's a small portable bbq in the back that is free to use, but we didn't have a chance to use it. The living room has an ornate wooden table that we used in the evenings to play games. There are some toys and books for children too, so it seems very family-friendly.
