The amusement park, indoor heated wave pool and indoor carousel were a hit with my son. Because we came during off peak season, it was quiet everywhere we went and no queue for anything. The resort was staffing level was excellent even though there were hardly any guests. The breakfast spread was big and tasty, but wish there could be a little variation in the items day to day as we were there for 4 days. Room was big and the sitting area was a nice bonus. Easy drive to Niseko/Kutchan/Lake Toya areas.
Offering a countryside escape in the highlands of Rusutsu, this family-run property offers cosy rooms just a 3-minute drive from Rusutsu Ski Resort, with the free shuttle service provided.

The property had a drying room which was amazing after long days at the snow and something we weren’t sure was going to be available
The shuttle service to and from the resort was a life saver

Well organised ski resort, good range of slopes for intermediate skills. The on-site food options were ok, but the restaurants outside the resort (all located in one street nearby) were much better, delicious and good value. Need to book in advance as they are all quite small.

The Westin was fabulous in a beautiful location.
The Westin was fabulous in a beautiful location. The rooms were very comfortable with great views of the snow and mountains. There were a lot of shops, which were a short monorail ride from our hotel. The food at the Atrium restaurant was delicious including the breakfast and dinner buffetts. The food at the Japanese restaurant was superb if you are looking for a special night out.

One of the best stays I have had in years!
One of the best stays I have had in years! The facility is amazing, you can't compare the residence stay with anything else you will find in Japan. Whether, groups of friends, couples, or families this is the best you will find.
Staff was professional and extremely helpful.
If you are a foreigner then, I would recommend no other place in Hokkaido.

Yoko and her husband were the perfect hosts and invested a lot of their time making sure we had a brilliant stay in Rusutsu.
We share many a laugh together and they made sure we enjoyed our time there to the full!
A fantastic experience with every day starting with a delicious cooked breakfast, tea and coffee.
If it was cold outside, everyone morning when we left we felt warm on the inside thanks to our hosts making sure we were ready for the active day ahead.
Lovely experience; we will be going back!
it was well located near to Rusutsu ski fields and was good value for money. It had a kitchen facility where you could make meals if you wished and also hot beverages. The beds are quite comfortable and there are adjustable heaters in the room, with the air temperatures in the resort as a whole quite warm. There is a local bus service close by which runs to the ski fields. The lady from the resort organised to come and pick me up from the connecting bus from Chitose airport when it stopped at the Resort.
Location is good, there's a 7-11 out side the Hotel with 2 minites drive. Monorail is so convience to get Rusutsu Resort. Onsen is so wonderful. Room space is bigger than I thought, kids really enjoy the stay and satisfied about the experience.
