Extremely helpful, patient, and friendly staff. They could remember your requests and face, and the staff communicate with each other, so you don't need to explain the same thing to different staff at the front desk even if the shifts changed. They're not just kind people but very professional. The hotel has probably been refurbished recently, and it's been kept in an extremely great condition due to attentive cleaning and management. I have a fairly high standard for cleaning and this hotel is absolutely spotless, even in places like the edge of the sliding cabinets.

Not many options in the area so this turned out to be a decent find. Obviously, its a Love Hotel so you know what you're signing up for. The room was quite dated and run down in various corners but was clean, spacious, and the shower/outdoor tub & toilet were all very nice.

The house is very cozy and is well-equipped. The owner is friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The cat was and the house and she was super cute. Our stay was short (just one evening), but we had a really nice time.

Lovely rural location is easily accessed from Unomachi by several buses in the morning and afternoon. It a very clean and comfortable property with friendly and hospitable staff. Leina is warm and welcoming, happy to provide suggestions in the area, and perfectly bilingual (Japanese and English). The bar was open and offered a casual way to enjoy the evening with a drink and several easy and tasty food options.

Ozu is a small city, I think one day is enough to see the main places. They have an information center for tourists right at the train station, where you can get a map pin pointing the main touristic places. And they can speak English at the information center. I was there for two days, but one day I went to Uchiko (20 minutes by train).
