The host Mr. Takaoka-san was very welcoming despite on a very last minute reservation (we had to after our previous reservation on Booking.com was cancelled 1 day earlier by the property Petit Hotel & Restaurant Air Mail Hakuba due to overbooking, without any offer for replacement or alternative). To make matter worse we only found out about the cancellation on the evening on the check in date, and we had to stop our car in the middle of the dark to scour for a replacement and lo and behold we found this accommodation nearby.

The authentic room was very spacious and lovely touches such as the yukatas the tea/coffee making facility. Also nice touch of the welcoming drink in the lounge area plus a selection of more unique yukatas.
The Onsen was very nice and opening times are great. Also enjoyed the foot bath outside of the lounge area.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very very helpful.
-very near shinano omachi station, walkable to bus stop (to Tateyama Alpine route)
-host provided baggage forwarding service, you may drop off your baggage at early morning, right after you check out.

Highly recommend!!!! The staffs are so friendly and always happy to help us to solve any problems. The room is comfy and clean, and the hotel offers pick-up service from Hakuba station, feel free to contact the hotel.
