Misato is an interesting and different area, Originally a quiet countryside area near to Tokyo, the Tsukuba Express line has caused it to start to grow in to a commuter friendly town. However, it still balances the quiet charm with all of the supermarkets and restaurants that have popped up around the station. If you want fresh air and a local feel, but also with quick access to Tokyo and large supermarkets and stores available too, it draws a perfect balance.
