My little villa was perfect for my intention to just relax. The amenities like the spa and bikes for rent added great value. The included breakfast is very filling. The beach is very quiet and beautiful. Airport shuttle is also included but not available after 1730.

Lovely hotel with all the amenities required including laundry and a small kitchenette that worked well for cooking (did so nearly every day). Good location and easy to get around from there. All self-service with only remote staff, but super responsive and accommodating.

pure bliss at this hotel. The unflappable manager, Tomo, really makes the place exceptional. his dinner recommendations were rave worthy in themselves. he can rent you a car but the electric bikes were so fun! would absolutely recommend.

I stayed at Hotel Local Base with my sister for a week while visiting Miyako for the first time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (I do not speak Japanese but they used a translation app when necessary). The room was pretty, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels were replaced daily, and housekeeping staff were pleasant and efficient.
We had breakfast at the cafe almost daily - everything was a treat. We also had lunch at the soba and at the curry restaurant - both were satisfying.
The hotel’s location is convenient. It is a quick ride from the airport and is 600m from a Konbini. We used the Didi app to book rides and it never took more than 5 minutes to get one.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay and plan to be back!
