I like the room style. It’s Japanese style with included bath in room. Small garden in front of the living room. I also tried to take a bath in a private Onsen. This is the great and special thing in this hotel. I recommend for families.

Nice town with many shops and very walkable. Nice path to walk along the river. Great cooking lesson at Sankaido confectionery shop. Food plan provided great meals, but we would like to have had a few meals in town. Transportation to and from Kagaonsen train station was free and very convenient. Room was spacious with a nice sitting area.

The views from our room were so beautiful, it felt like we were right on the lake. The onsen was top class.
