Wonderful Staff!! Very friendly and welcoming, i never felt rushed. The dinner was delicious and great, but the breakfast was HUGE and Amazing!! 😍😍
The onsen was a step back into time... Several indoor and outdoor baths to choose from... The main ones being slightly, slimy brown therapeutic waters.
The property is older, yet maintained well by a dedicated staff. A bit of
f the path, if traveling by train. The view out of the window in the morning was stunning...with a panoramic view of the Japanese Alps!!

Absolutely gorgeous home! As a westerner, the traditional japanese style was breathtaking. This home is very spacious for 2 people and there were so many incredible details to the property. Best of all, our host, Mizuho went above and beyond to help us with our stay. We took the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route to Nagano early in the morning on the day we checked out. Mizuho helped us plan out our journey and she offered to drive us to the train station very early in the morning. It was very generous of her and made our trip through the route possible when we had trouble scheduling a taxi. She is a wonderful host and we had a fantastic stay.
Open from June 2016, Toyama Onyado Nono features hot spring baths and is located in the heart of Toyama City, a 15-minute walk from JR Toyama Station. It features free WiFi and a restaurant.

The hotel would perfect if one can control the temperature of the room. I stayed there in late January 2024. The room is hot even after I turned off heating and opened the window. The room would not cool down. I ended up getting sick because of it. I would not stay there again in the winter. Also, the hotel requires guests to get in without shoes. My socks turned to black after walking in the hallway a couple of times. :(
The hot spring in room is quite good, which I used nearly everyday. I didn't go to the public bath.
