The kindness of strangers in Uwajima will forever stay with me. The owners are wonderful, the people of the city no less so. Several of my best memories of my pilgrimage so far is of this place and this guesthouse. I cannot reccomend it higher to anyone looking for a nice stay and nice people.

The room had everything we needed, large double bed, an ensuit with good shower, fridge, water kettle.
Staff at checkin was very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us warmly. They also phoned to arrange a hotel for us at our next destination.
There was free tea and coffee and really good orange available at reception.
We could park our bikes under a roof close to the entrance.
