Staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable!
Rooms are big and very spacious, and the onsen is very nice aswell.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kamifurano House during my family trip to Furano and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. Firstly, the location is impeccable, Kamifurano has the most stunning views of the Daisetsuzan Range andstill being conveniently close to local attractions. One of the best coffees I have ever tried in Japan is located within minutes from the property!
One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent communication with the host. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their local insights and recommendations truly enhanced my experience of the area.
Moreover, the facilities at Kamifurano House were top-notch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.
Overall, my experience at Kamifurano House was nothing short of exceptional. From the prime location to the attentive staff and fantastic facilities, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Furano.

The host prepared the Japanese Fulton for us with extra padding on the bottom, which made the bed a lot more comfortable than some other ones we slept on. We truly appreciate that. The host also had slippers laid out for us. We felt very welcomed. The host has clear instructions regarding location, parking, and check in. There are cut toys and pretty decorations through out the apartment.
The location and value of this apartment is unbeatable. It is very close to Farm Tomita and half the price of other homestays in the area. We do have a rental car to get around and are not depending on the public transport system. So the distance from train station is not a factor in our consideration.

Stay in Kami-furano for fast access to the Tokachi Mountain Range in Daisetsuzan National Park, whether for hiking or for backcountry skiing or snowboarding. The town also has a good selection of restaurants; we only tried one during our stay, but it was excellent and reasonably priced.

It is a wonderful area if you want to go into the mountains. It has open air onsen, hotel onsen and plenty of restaurants and coffee bars. Two we want mention, as they were exceding expectations. Kaneko coffebeans and Furano Cafe. Worth a visit!!
