Really nice and traditional ryokan, in one of the most beautiful parks in Hokkaido!
Staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable!
Rooms are big and very spacious, and the onsen is very nice aswell.

Stay in Kami-furano for fast access to the Tokachi Mountain Range in Daisetsuzan National Park, whether for hiking or for backcountry skiing or snowboarding. The town also has a good selection of restaurants; we only tried one during our stay, but it was excellent and reasonably priced.

It was end of November we stayed in the area of Kamifurano. The first snow of the season just dropped
It is a wonderful area if you want to go into the mountains. It has open air onsen, hotel onsen and plenty of restaurants and coffee bars. Two we want mention, as they were exceding expectations. Kaneko coffebeans and Furano Cafe. Worth a visit!!
