The hotel is wonderful, well located and good mixture between modern and tradition. English speaking staff is super kind, buffets great and onsen relaxing. Lounge bar also offers a great variety of drinks.

It was spacious with a tatami room and two beds, kitchen, laundry, bath and toilet. The terrace view was also nice. I liked that the onsen had 24 hr access too, both inside and outside. Met some friendly residents during our stay.

The free shuttle betweeen two places, yet I didn’t know the info until I arrived by myself
A great breakfast and dinner buffet setup, a large room, great onsen, right where you want to be in Jozankei, there is very little to complain about! The staff are very professional and are very organized. During the buffet they guide you so you know how the flow should be and the usual chaos you see is pretty much nonexistent. The onsen facility contains both indoor and outdoor pools and both were fantastic. Right behind the hotel is a beautiful mountain view that i gorgeous in the snowtime.
Nothing much, come to think about it. Just a normal onsen hotel I have been before. Not worth the additional $$$ we paid expecting a superb experience.
