Only stayed one night as we were just passing by but wished we had more time to discover the area from this hotel! The hotel was spotless, very modern and convenient. The staff was great and super helpful, the room had everything you could be asking for, especially for that price! Great hotel, would definitely book there again if I have the opportunity to be back in that area.

A haven for motorcycle fans, and good place for socialising

I had an amazing stay in Kuon Villa. The house was renovated with much love and combines old and new in a very stylish way. If you want to experience a traditional Japanese house but don’t want to miss out on modern comfort, this is the house for you. This was really one of my best stays in Japan. Spacious modern kitchen and eating area, very comfortable bed and nice Sauna and Bathroom. The highlights are the beautiful Tatami rooms that offer an amazing view into the surrounding Garden. I unfortunately only stayed for one night and spend most of my time sitting in the tatami room, drinking tea and looking at the beautiful Garden. The house also offers a lot of privacy as it is a bit on the edge of the village and has everything you need for a relaxed stay, from BBQ, deckchairs to entertainment system (Bluetooth box and projector). High quality amenities were also supplied. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The house is located in the countryside, I recommend buying supplies in one of the cities on the way. There are also some restaurants nearby. I came by car from Fukuyama which took about an hour and was a nice ride through the hills, I enjoyed staying away from the crowded big cities. The manager was very friendly and replied fast to any questions I had. I will be back for sure, next time for a longer stay.
