During my stay I was the only one at the hotel, so all the facilities were only for me (such as 温泉 etc).
I only used 温泉that was outside, to breathe fresh air, it was built in a wooden house and there is everything you need starting from a shower gel and ending with a towels. No need to bring yours! In the 温泉there is plenty of space, so you can lay down. And the plus for me I really liked the incense smell!
Rooms were clean, bright and to my surprise spacious, no road noise only birds and cicadas. I was finally able to sleep normally. In the hotel there is only 11 rooms, so there won’t be a fully crowded.
I had a breakfast only plan and it was delicious, traditional Japanese style breakfast, I can’t remember the last time I ate something so good, everyday new food to expect. Next time I should definitely take a dinner as well!
The staff was amazing I want to say a big thank you for everything! They helped me so much during my stay even though they didn’t have to even dropped me at the station since I had a huge problems with a tickets and i needed to go to another city. They even remembered what I usually drink in the morning.
もう一回ありがとうございます!Thank you for everything I will definitely be back!

Had a "garden suite" which was a awesome experience, huge room with tatami mats and the full Japanese experience. Also a balcony, which seems rare in Japan! Great selection in the dinner buffet. Several different onsen options to try.

It is a small town that offers a nice beach and some good restorants. It is perfect for relaxing a few days after the tour of the big cities. The first thing you notice is the absence of noise and then the blue sea fills your eyes and you feel peace hugging you.

We went during the winter season in February and it was good weather and an enjoyable stay! We were able to see the cherry blossoms! We saw komuroyama, the volcano omuroyama, did the jogasaki trail, went to kawazu to see the cherry blossoms, the imaihama beach where I definitely recommend to take a bike to go the beach!
I also recommend taking a day-pass at Ito station where you can take as much as you want the subway. However, for the mountains you have to take the buses so use your pasmo / suica card or cash. And it is also important to have a lot of cash on you because a lot of places take only cash.

I made a round trip along Ito coast.
I made a round trip along Ito coast. The west side is a rural area with its natural beauty and rocky beach well preserved. Not many people and houses, which fit my preference well. The east side boasts some world class white sand beaches, gorgeous rocky cliff view and small islands.

We needed more time!
We needed more time! We loved the coastline and beautiful beaches, the hikes and attractions. You need to be careful with transportation if you don't have a car: make sure you know what buses and trains you are taking in advance. If I could do it again, I would stay longer and rent a car.

City is charming, friendly and efficient people at the restaurants and shops. Safe to walk at night, my kids enjoyed the beach, and of course Jonathon’s restaurant.
Ate lunch at fresh fish restaurant, swam in the ocean in September, and enjoyed the outdoor large spa onsen.
My recommendation is K’s Guesthouse.
Available message at the outdoor spa too!

Ito is a place to relax and enjoy your stay with a good sea view with beach side stays.
Food is delicious sushi 🍣 🍱 is fresh and restaurants have their special dish everyday. Where you can find plenty of options to try.
from the moment we stepped off the train everyone in Ito was very friendly and helpful, they all knew K's house and could guide us to our location. The room was clean and overlooked the river, having an added balcony with sitting area added to our relaxed experience. The choice of private bath or the shared onsen I loved having the access throughout the evening and early morning. The staff were very helpful as we also went to the local outdoor onsen. I liked there were a mix of travellers and it felt very authentic.
The location of the villa was lovely and peaceful and really great area for walking.
Within the villa the hot spring bath was a real treat and the futon bed very comfortable
The host was most helpful in organising a taxi back to the station for us.
The guidance regarding check in worked well when we arrived and the details about the villa were helpful. Suggest that providing some details of shops and restaurants nearby could also be helpful for future visitors.
The hotel offers tea and other self serve drinks until late at night. Also, there are icy fruit bars that you could enjoy even late at night. In addition, there are plenty of places to take photos. Onsen is not busy and usually only 3-4 people.
Both dinner and breakfast have a lot of varieties.
