I stayed on the 16th floor and the views over the lake were stunning. Onsen indoor and outdoor is great. Reception staff are great and some speak a little English.

Very comfortable and cosy cabin..family really enjoyed our stay. It was good having a separate loft & bedroom upstairs and the cabin was big enough for a family of 4.

Great Onsen but otherwise its very dated and rather impersonal

I was originally staying for two days but I was lucky that there was space for me to stay an extra night. It meant I could travel to Aizu Wakamatsu and Nanukamachi on one day and then cycle half way around the lake on the next day. Then the arrival day i went up to Goshikinuma ponds and walked the nature trail (stunning) and I just chilled at the lovely guest house after lots of travelling! Inawashiro is very quiet but lovely scenery with a great beach by the lake. You do need a car or bike to get to it though.
