This is a great 'homestay' style guest house. The hostess is exceptionally pleasant to talk to (although we are Japanese speakers so language was not a problem in our case).

Views were beautiful, room comfortable, it’s great that the onsen, playroom and swimming pool of the hotel. The distance to the Shirarahama beach is walkable but can be hot in summer. There are buses every hour or so.

My travels in Japan confirmed total commitment by staff to their role. Grampus is ageing, but aging well. A great collection of 'natural' Onsen pools, separate for men and women. A serene view for breakfast with guests often dressed in yukata. Easy access to bus transport and short walks.
