The building has an interesting layout but everything was very clean and relatively simple. The futon was actually pretty comfortable and I liked the simple layout of the room. My only con is that the hose on the shower head has a bit of mold on it. Simple fix with some kabi kira though. Another plus is that there’s plenty of parking and it’s free.

The foods were real good and you can feel the warm welcome from obaa-san. The dog there also cute even though he’s quite an old pup already. The place is really nice. quiet and full of nature, I wish I could stay more for like a whole week and do nothing. Futon and Kotatsu were also really comfortable.

A wonderful rest place close to the first temples on the 88 pilgrimage. Everything is super well thought out, modern and yet full of tradition. It is intimate with 5 rooms and in an Meiji era home with a beautiful neighborhood of similar structures. The Italian restaurant several doors down is also excellent.

This home is beautiful. Access to the entire floor plan was an amazing value. This would be a great option for a traveling family. The host was extremely kind and punctual, making check-in and check-out a breeze. There is just something special about staying in a traditional home like this while exploring the Japanese countryside. You can tell the host cares a lot about maintaining the property and really earns respect and satisfaction of guests. Will stay here again if I return to Shikoku.
