The location of this APA Hotel is excellent—three streets east of the station and one from the bay. The room was also immaculate, the staff was very polite, and it was effortless to come and go. Checkout is also straightforward, as you drop the card in a box on the way out. It is an easy-to-use business hotel - and you can find APA hotels across Japan.

I did not use the restaurants at the hotel but the location being at the train station offers convenience. The concept of the establishment is quite a break through of the conventional hotel service where the guest can settle into the “medical wellness” programme.

Great location, near the train station and the coast. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. Our favorite was the large shower with an option for a rain shower, a regular shower head, and a tub!

New and clean with thoughtful extras like a welcome snack of mango pudding, bottled water every day, free apple juice and coffee in the lobby, free popsicles and yogurt drinks in the lounge. Fantastic breakfast buffet with Japanese and Western offerings for an additional cost. Onsen was clean and relaxing. Staff was polite but English skills were limited, so download a translation app.
