This is a traditional style ryokan. We loved the tatami mats and futons and the onsen on site. The rooftop terrace in the evening was great with beautiful views of the Tori gate and the town.

The food was traditional Japanese, very well made and they even made it vegan for me. The room was very spacy, clean and in a good condition. The onsen was very nice, also clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is also beautiful, perfect for walks or a hike to mountain Misen.
