An absolutely nice hotel with a perfect view of the great Mt. Fuji. The staff was kind. There is a bus stop and a metro station near the hotel. The Fuji q-highland is in the same area as well. I recommend buying the tickets for both breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant because the food was extremely delicious with a variety of dishes that are suitable for Japanese and foreigners and the staff of the restaurant was nice too. I had the most relaxing experience ever.

Not the hotel or the room we expected. 😍 we paid less compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan and we were expecting something less. But when we reach the entrance of the hotel we were just wowww 😁. Unfortunately we stayed only for one night in this place. We had the Mt.fuji view from our room and again unfortunately it was too cloudy to see it. The room was comfortable and good. The bathroom was quite small. But compared to the money we spent it was perfect.

Very convenient drive to five lakes and major Mt Fuji sights. We were able to drive to Kawaguchiko both during the day to take the cable car for panoramic views and at night to see the fireworks. Many restaurants in the region for Japanese and other cuisines, no short of choices. Beautiful views of Mt Fuji from various areas of the five lakes region. Chureito Pagoda is a must visit despite the long climb up. Gotemba premium outlet is popular and not far away for branded shopping and dining.

There was a supermarket, Lawsons and a 100yen shop nearby. Also a very nice family restaurant with robot machines to bring your food. And a karaoke place. Just a couple of minutes' walk to FujiQ. We were met in the lobby for a trip to Aokigihara Jukai and the wind cave. Very convenient.

We trained in, stayed 1 night then got on some bikes and rode around the base of Mt Fuji, stopped midway and returned to stay an extra night, could have easily spent a few more days here exploring the area, it was absolutely delightful!

The natural surroundings were beautiful, some areas were way overcrowded (especially the narrower streets near Kawaguchiko. Sengen Shrine is a small oasis in the city (amazing old growth forest in the city. Yoshida trail that we did part of was near the road up majority of the hike, so not as immersive as I would’ve thought
Central Fujiyoshida feels more touristy than I would've thought

For Fujiyoshida you can plan to stay 2 nights, it will be enough to enjoy different spots to see Mount Fuji and if you have plans to go to Fuji Q HIGHLAND you can also do it. Keep in mind that transportation in this town is not until very late so it can be very useful to rent a bicycle, motorcycle or car for better transportation.

When sunny, the town is very full of tourists. The train/bus station is very small for the amazing volume of vehicles and people that go through. So be prepared for crowded chaos at the station. Get the sightseeing bus pamphlet - this is a local town bus, the pamphlet shows you the attractions- it was handy. Popular attraction ropeway- great - but not remotely accessible- many many stairs and steep slopes. Good restaurant to the right of the exit of the ropeway.

The hotel shuttle took us to and from the resort and the train station.
The authentic clothing (yukata) was a nice perk and added to the relaxation and resort/spa like feel.
We enjoyed the dinner, wine bar, and breakfast.
The check-in and out process was both friendly and efficient.
Lovely hostel, feels like a hotel with how nice it is. Beautiful fresh and clean rooms, lovely communal kitchen and lounge space. The location is great as the hostel is on the famous road up to Mount Fuji. It is quiet, peaceful and a lovely getaway from the busy city.
