The staff was welcoming, helpful and personable. I felt totally at home! The restaurant had a traditional and beautiful setting and the food was outstanding in quality and presentation. My room was spacious and esthetically designed and had tatami mats and futon beds that I love. I especially enjoyed their outdoor Onsen that is situated a short distance up the mountain and can be reached with a little tram. It was heavenly to sit in it at night under a starry sky. I highly recommend Kazurabashi and will absolutely be back next year.

I really looked forward to breakfasts and dinners - everything was delicious. I wish the owner was my grandmother so that i could eat her food every day. The room was spacious and clean. The view from the room is spectacular. The location is also very convenient and near the bus stop and an onsen. I did not face any issue with the shared shower.

It was a log cottage in the forest. You are surrounded by trees and the river outside the window. The facilities were very modern and had everything we need for our stay. It was very peaceful and we had a great time there as a family.

Beautiful setting by the river, nice wooden and large cabin, very clean, and the host was kind and flexible, allowing us to arrive an hour later than the usual check-in time.

Staying at this hotel for 2 nights was one of the highlights of our trip. Our room was comfortable and very spacious, the meals were exceptional, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hot spring facility is amazing with fabulous views across the valley. It is a very quiet area, and it feels safe. There are some restaurants and shops near the camp. Busstops are a 10 min walk, so decent for this type of area. Nice thick mattresses.

Staff was very helpful and responsive. Dedicated parking spot is just about 100m away. Its free. We stayed at ground floor room so access to shower and toilets was easy. Other shared rooms are upstairs. We also dined once in the cafe, it was good. They have good sake too.
