We loved everything. Richard was the perfect host- interested and interesting. He gave us some good tips about our river raft trip on the Martha Brae. Our room was delightful. HUGE. Great bed, pillows, linens. And the breakfast he made for us (Jamaican and American) was delicious.

The owner was very communicative and quick to respond or send assistance whenever any questions or issues arose. The house is lovely, spacious and well decorated. The a/c in the queen room is icy cold and fantastic. The a/c in the double room was not as cold but still fantastic to have during these hot, humid days. The couch is softer than it looks so sit gently and enjoy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Not too soft or too firm. The refrigerator is very cold and was perfect for us to have our own groceries with us. There were even ice trays already filled with ice waiting for us, as well as bottles of water and a few snacks. There was ample dishware and cooking tools to prepare and enjoy all of our meals. The washing machine was great for washing our laundry before we left and hanging it on the line to dry. So we had clean clothes to take back with us, instead of repacking dirty. The house is very secure, though I'll admit it took some help from the owner to find the lock on the gate. We felt very safe. The shower was cool, refreshing and very powerful, so after long days at the beach, we were able to get nice and clean. This house was about 5mins drive to the nearest beach. I highly recommend traveling the coast and trying several different beaches, as we did. Each one was so different from the next and they were all within reasonable driving distance from this house. This was a fantastic place to stay and thankfully affordable as well, for my family. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
