Ocean Edge Villa, hotel in Marley

Ocean Edge Villa is offering accommodations in Boscobel. 1.7 miles from Fisherman Beach, the guest house offers a garden and a shared lounge.

Property was securely gated off a main street. Big white solid house. Beautiful view of the ocean, right on the Sea. Beautiful fruit trees to eat from all over the property. The bedroom was very clean. We booked with very short notice, like 15 minutes, but was immediately welcomed in. The lady of the house was very nice and provided perfect recommendations for dinner nearby.

Moon Palace Jamaica, hotel in Marley

Offering a spa and a swimming pool with a wave machine and water slides, Moon Palace Jamaica - All Inclusive is located on the beachfront in Ocho Rios.

I booked my stay at the Moon Palace Jamaica Resort two months ago for my brother-in law’s 50th birthday party. My husband and I arrived at the hotel at 5:30pm and was informed by the receptionist that our room was unavailable despite the check-in time being 3:00pm. At 7:30pm we were informed that we were allocated a better room and was finally able to check-in. Upon entering the room my husband immediately went to use the washroom. My husband tried to use both the faucet and shower only to realize that the room did not have a water supply. To make matters worse, when he attempted to open the faucet the head fell off. We went to the front desk and reported the aforementioned issues however we were told to go to PR. We went to PR were we met with one of the managers. We kindly requested a refund or relocation, but the manager claimed that they would be unable to refund us and there wasn’t any other room available to relocate us. The manager’s best compromise was to tell us that he would attempt to have the faucet repaired and that we could use the shower at the spa. Due to the aforementioned problems we missed dinner with my brother-in-law who was celebrating his 50th birthday at the hotel with other family members and friends. Please keep in mind that my brother-in-law’s birthday was the reason we were there. At around 10pm we tried to contact the manager to get an update on our room however we were unable to. I returned to the room to find that we now had a supply of water, but the faucet was not repaired, and as such water was flowing freely and being wasted. We returned to PR to meet another manager to have the same faucet problem mentioned earlier solved. The problem was solved half an hour later. The water supply continued to be an issue as Monday morning I woke up around 6am to use the washroom only to find that there was no water once again.
