Well , it’s my third time at Monaci . I’m just in love with that place . With the tranquility, wonderful big , beautiful rooms ( I stayed at villa ) the pool with the fantastic view. The food was amazing , just no words more to say . Very good breakfast served outside , all organic. I’m highly recommend to visit a Monaci . You will love it like me

The hotel assigned a wrong camera for disabled person. After a lot of back and forth they chenged the camera. The hotel did not have easy access for disabled. The front doors were blocked with vase and the ramp blocked with tables and chairs. It was raining a lot, Nobody helped with the luggage. Due to weather alert conditions we decided to leave the hotel 2 hours after we arrived. The hotel didn't understand the situation and charged two nights. This is the new way to make money, without offering a good service.

Not walkable at all! Driving through winding roads was all we were able to do. The Sunday October festival was so crowded we couldn’t find parking so never got to experience it. Great wi dry tour, however!

Great hotel located near Mount Etna.Ideal for exploring area with wonderful views Spa was relaxing and outdoor pool exceptional. Food was delicious. Beds were comfortable . Hotel should provide all guest with robe and slippers as part of their room.

We were there off season so it was a bit cold at night.
We were there off season so it was a bit cold at night. The town doesn’t offer much variety in dining, mostly pasta & pizza. We gave up and bought food at the supermarket and ate in our room. Typical small Sicilian town supermarkets. Best to stop at a larger market in the city.
The drive up to view the Mountain was quite winding but not difficult and highly recomended.

Zafferana Etnea is a small village at the foot of the Etna...
Zafferana Etnea is a small village at the foot of the Etna volcano with easy access to the roads leading to the northern and southern parts of the volcano. A suitable place for ATV enthusiasts as well as for mountain climbing. Unique edible mushrooms grow in the area, which you can eat in the many pizzerias in the town. At the beginning of October, a festival is held in the center of this picturesque town, where you can try local foods, such as cheeses, meat products, sweets, honey, olives prepared in different ways, roasted chestnuts, fruits and many others. ..
There is also music, an amusement park, street food and many artisans from whom everyone can buy interesting things as a souvenir of this wonderful place.

What a beautiful nature. Please go with a guide that can tell you about the history of Etna and the surroundings.
If I were you, I would stay away from the touristic places.

Sikelia Etna House - it is a real oasis!
Sikelia Etna House - it is a real oasis! The owners are so nice and cooperative. The house and the furnisher are new and collected with so much love and taste. The swimming pool is clean and mild. The next trattoria is perfect. Etna view is amasing. I am recomпending to everyone who wants to spend great time with the family.

My stay at Monaci delle Terre Nere was truly exceptional. This is a paradise on the slopes of Etna amidst the lush Sicilian countryside, the property exuded tranquillity and charm. I can't say enough about attentive service, gourmet meals sourced from their own organic garden, exceptional collection of art, fantastic wine tasting and cooking class.... and the sleep. i travel around the world a lot - this is one of THE best places to sleep and simply enjoy time at the hotel. and time here is sweet and slow, just like local honey.
This family run hotel is absolutely beautifully decorated and run with style and friendly staff. The room, shower, wine time at the bar to try the excellent Vinyard red and local whites were all brilliant. Best of all are the stunning views of Etna on one side and out to the coast on the other.
Great location with amazing views, spa facilities were excellent.
Hotel room was comfortable and very helpful staff to support and assist guests when needed.
