A beautiful place close to the archaeological park of Segesta. A sort of oasis in the desert with landscaped surroundings and a pool (which we did not use). Very pleasant and comfortable, extremely quiet at night - except for a lonely dog who barked in the distance. But even that somehow added to the charm of the place. Even though we were apparently the only guests now in the off season there was plenty to choose from for breakfast and coffee, tea, cookies and fruit available all day long.

Comfy, clean rooms, in Gibellina. Stayed on the Sicily Divide, and the bikes are locked by the entrance and behind a gate at night. Friendly host and great value breakfast. The Pizza Time restaurant a few minutes walk away does excellent pasta.

I booked a SELF-CATERING apartment. What i got was an apartment with a visual kitchen with no WORKING oven, grill, hob, or indeed any apartment heating. How could i use a non-functioning kitchen while shivering? I complained to owner, and Booking DOT com, and neither gave a toss, so i immediately vacated, and went to another apartment i myself (miraculously) found within an hour, i was very lucky.

Fabulous little place, with very friendly people. Amazing setting hidden on a hill right behind Segesta temple, set amongst the vines and olive trees. Food delicious and Miriam could not do enough to help. Pool a delight. Will definitely re-book. Hidden gem!
The view from our room was breathtaking. The town is small with few restaurants but there were several close by and the one on the premises was very good.
Roads are quite windy but it’s easy to get around.
Lots of historical points of interest nearby.
