Weather was hot in September, our apartment was right in the centre absolutely beautiful. Beaches were a short distance away and lovely. The old or historic part of Vasto is beautiful. A small town with lovely restaurants and shops. 3 days in Vasto is ample.

A beautiful old town absolutely full of history and with the bonus of spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea. Plenty of restaurants and small local shops. Can definitely recommend La Votta Di Mare for dinner for it's local cuisine and friendly staff

A large number of good restaurants.
And not too far for wineries or trabocchi.
After a month of visiting very small old towns in Puglia, we were happy that Vasto had more to offer.

I loved this Hotel!
I loved this Hotel! The staff were helpful on arrival and throughout my stay. The room was comfortable with a balcony and bathroom. The room serviced daily and the breakfast had many choices and was great. Across the road a small church with a rest area, views over the coast and ocean.
A short stroll to the park, a delightful walk by the children's play area and the pond, a small Cafe and fountain, cross the road and you are in the old town. Restaurants, bars, shopping and a history dating back before Greek settlement. I recommend this Hotel for travelers to Vasti.

When visiting Vasto, try to stay at B&B alla Canale. It is absolutely amazing, just a short drive from Vasto city center. The property is right on the Adriatic, with both a terrace and balcony overlooking beautiful landscaping and with steps down to the shore. The hosts are very welcoming, and, boy, did they put out a spread for breakfast! And, unlike much of Italy, they actually have secured parking for a large vehicle. Highly recommended.

Go for the beaches and nature area!
Go for the beaches and nature area! There’s quite a few paved and off road trails for biking and walking. The natural reserve at Punta Aderci is gorgeous but there’s also several small beaches just north of the historic Centre of Vasto. Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of more well known beach cities, without sacrificing any of the beauty or Italian experience. Definitely recommend renting bikes for a day or two!

Chiara and Carla are great hosts. The apartment is very nice, very clean, nicely furnished, it has everything you need. Excellent location right at the entrance of the historical center easy to walk and explore Vasto and the many restaurants it has to offer. We had a car so it was a short 10 minute drive to the beach or you can take the city bus.
In the historical centre but close to the edge so you can get a good view of the coast from outside the hotel now sure of the internal views as we stayed in the outside annex 2 storey suite
In the heart of Vasto, Florio is beautifully appointed with care and attention to detail. Anita, the owner was charming and so helpful both before and throughout our stay.
The property is perfectly located for easy access to Vasto centro and piazza. The property was well laid out with good facilities for the length of time we stayed.
People working at the hotel are very nice. Own balcony for your room is a must have, specially as a smoker. The area around the hotel has enough parking place.
